Seven weeks ago I underwent a total right hip replacement operation at the Spire Hospital, Bristol conducted by Mr Webb. Mr Webb comes over as professional, competent and very reassuring. From first to last the experience was entirely positive and my recovery has been rapid and comprehensive. Post op, I experienced almost no bruising, minimal swelling and no significant pain. I am now walking 10 kms a day, am pain free and have full mobility. I have little or no previous experience of hospitals, but I would struggle to come up with any suggested improvements.

I met Jason Webb towards end of 2022 after the consultant I had been seeing moved away. Mr Webb was very helpful and listened to all of my questions and put me at ease. Following my appointment in December 2022 we agreed I would have total hip replacement in January 2023. He explained the procedure and what would happen. I was very anxious but felt I was in safe hands. On the day Mr Walton the Anaesthetist was also very good , put me at ease. The surgery went well and recover is going very good with physio. Looking forward to being more active and enjoy walking again. I hope I never have to have surgery again but if I did I would 100% use Mr Webb. I would also like to pass on thanks to the secretary support team, in particular Tracy who is Mr Webb's secretary for their help in arrangements.

I was very impressed with Mr Webb. I initially went to him with pain in my right hip and he could see I was just about coping with this but his intuition recognised I wasn’t ready to go down the surgery route at that time and he suggested I should contact him again when the lack of hip mobility got in the way of my normal life, I liked that he wasn’t insisting it be dealt with immediately. I ended up going back to see him 6 months later and he arranged for a replacement right hip at a time convenient to me. Mr Webb is a very mildly mannered guy and explains everything in great detail, I felt in very safe hands. I liked his positivity and encouragement. My operation went to plan and I healed very quickly, I’m able to go back to Aqua Fit just 5 weeks following my surgery Thank you Mr Webb - a job well done

I had a total hip replacement in January 2022 carried out by Mr Jason Webb. I asked if I could be awake throughout the procedure which was no problem at all and it was wonderful to go into recovery fully awake without any ill effects. Mr Webb explained throughly everything that was going to happened and visited me first thing the following morning to check on me. A very kind and caring surgeon who I highly recommend. Thank you Mr Webb and team.
